RESEARCH PAPER.
I have spent the final weeks of my course at Delaware County Community College working on my research paper. My topic, Universal health care, was discussed in the film Where to Invade Next, which we watched in class. I provided a summary to the film in my blog post: Summary of Where to Invade Next. I found the film very interesting which also made it difficult for me to choose a topic for my paper. Originally, I wanted to do my paper on the Norway prison model. After beginning this paper, I found it difficult for me to find good sources on, and I found I was not as interested as I originally thought on this topic. I then started my current paper on universal health care. I found this topic to be much easier and more enjoyable to write about. Writing long papers has always been a challenge for me. I always find myself to get too overwhelmed and want to give up. In the English courses I took in high school, we had to write 75 note cards, with a fact on each one, and the source we found it from. This approach was very lengthy and took a long time, but I used a similar process in writing this research paper. I wrote down facts I wanted included in my paper, not always in sentence form, basically just jotted them down and included the sources, in order to organize my thoughts. Here is a link to my assignment sheet.
